About This Game Your mission is to select a fleet of warships, arm them by selecting their weapons, assign captains and destroy the enemy fleet. You have to plan most of your actions in advance. Don't like that you can hit your own ships if you don't watch were the ships are. They are sometimes really close and the back ships start first... Deafinetly a great game for very experienced stratagy players. I played it so long that...I bounced on my boys♥♥♥♥♥♥to this for hours straight. nice little game thats best suited for multiplayer as its very shorton normal difficuilty playing as japan i won the war after 6 turns and roughly 12-15 battles non of which i lostand since the usa won the war in real life i see no point in playing the usa campaignso little replay value on single player. Nice! I used to enjoy playing battle ships on paper as a kid. Playing alone I felt transported in time to the second world war and the epic battles that ensued. Playing with a friend it felt like battle ships or chess, but of course this time with nice graphics and music. Overall the game is well polished. The GUI, music, animations and gameplay is uncomplicated and well thought through. Well worth the $10 I payed.. The VR for Battle Fleet 2 is amazing. It would be nice to see more added to the game. like Marines assaulting the beach or transit times for airplanes in flight. This game is kinda fun if you play it for what it is, i.e. an arcade battleships game.The distances/angles are sketchy and very random, but its quite satisfying to land a salvo of shells on target.I found the game easier to play and get my head around in it`s normal desktop mode. The VR mode is well implemented but I preferrred playing the game on a normal screen, (maybe thats just me though).. The AI can be either as dumb as a rock or a startling cheat dependent on the level you are playing at.Not a bad game, a little overpriced but worth buying on sale. 1.41 Update: The 1.41 Update is now live, this is mostly just smaller tweaks and bug fixes. We have a potential fix to the campaign bug that stops the game at turn 20 of a battle. If you have a save game with this bug try it again and hopefully the game will continue past this point. In VR we increased the zoom range a bit so you can now see the ship models closer. Also, we've addressed the issue with the laser pointer not working when the app is out of focus. Torpedo bombers have been adjusted slightly to increase accuracy.. Update 1.422 now live: A small update with bug fixes has been released and added back in missing support for 32 bit windows users.
